From December 2nd to 4th 2022, the 9th China Shanghai International Children's Book Fair (CCBF) was held at the West Bund Art Center in Xuhui District, Shanghai. CCBF is an exhibition focusing on books and other content for children in the Asia-Pacific region. During the exhibition, a total of 70 professional programs and readers’ events were held both online and offline. The total exposure through online streaming events of various platforms exceeds 6 million views. 192 children's book publishers and agencies from 17 countries and regions including the UK, Germany, Spain, and the United States participated in the exhibition.

In addition to the main venue in Shanghai, the theme events of "Children's Books Around China - Reading for Fun" were launched jointly with more than 20 city partners from various provinces.

On-site forums of famous children's book authors, Golden Pinwheel Youth Illustrator Competition Exhibition, Young Illustrators Avenue, and Children Plus Exhibition not only provide a stage for authors to showcase their work, but also attract publishing organizations to explore the original source, giving Chinese original children's books new opportunities to exchange ideas and grow.
